We began by putting an "X" on a spot. Then several swipes of a bull dozer, you end up with a flat spot to map out your floor plan.
Dig out a road, put in some stone to support the heavy trucks.
Then you dig out the crawl space. Cement forms on house in background.
The aforementioned wall forms
Fresh cement in the forms.
After the forms are peeled off. This is the office.
And this is the house.
Foundation, freshly tarred with center piers for the timbers.
Cement floors for the carport and garage at the office.
OK starting to add wood to the crawl space.
Almost ready for the floor
Ready for the floor

This is where the bathroom and closet are going. It looks big from this angle.

With shingles.

Interior, second floor layer and new door, w/o grill.

The board and channel rough cut cedar siding, installed. Looks real nice, we liked the look but .  .  .

.  .  we painted it anyway. Paint lasts ten years, stain two, I did the math and painted. Here is the office primed twice with first coat.

Here is the other side of the building with first coat and the beginning of the second coat, by the garage.

Here we are, insulated!

Dry walled.

The tongue and grooved pine board upper wall and ceiling.

The window trim, barn style.

A lot of the work is done, a good thing too as what's left of my body needs a vacation. I haven't told the body yet, but we still have the house to build.

Here is the finished floor with 2 coats, we'll put the last coat on after every thing else is done. White oak #1 rustic grade. The highest grade looks like parkay, this is butter!

Donna wanted a wooden bathroom in the office. So here it is. The commode is the circle on the left and the shower is the square thing on the right. This room has a great view with a sunrise window!

This room could double as my guitar getaway.

The Office kitchen cabinets sans counter tops. Next week they go in. Got to measure first.
